Meet your certified guide by the Christmas tree at Residenzplatz (info stand no. 95), where your festive journey begins. From here, you’ll be guided through the heart of Salzburg’s Christmas Market, where stories of Advent traditions and Salzburg’s holiday history come to life. As you wander among the beautifully decorated stalls, enjoy insights into local customs and discover special places to find traditional crafts, Christmas gifts, and culinary treats that capture the season’s spirit.

Our route takes you on a circular path around some of Salzburg’s most beloved sites:

  • Domplatz and Salzburger Dom: Discover the heart of Salzburg’s historical and spiritual life.
